Money of Light Slidng Scale Payment Options Exchanging money and services provides all parties with opportunities to contribute to themselves, each other, and all beings by creating money of light. When you use money in ways that serve your higher purpose and bring you and others joy, you are creating money of light. The more money is made and spent with integrity and light, the more it becomes a force of light for everyone. True abundance is having all you need to do your life’s work—the tools, resources, living environment, and to live a life filled with joy and aliveness. Abundance is not an extravagant, glamorous style of living maintained purely to impress others or one that does not support your true aliveness.” (Orin, channeled by Sanaya Roman, Creating Money, p. 230-231). At Soul Level Central we experience money as a promise and a sense of possibility: our intention is to enrich everyone far beyond the monetary value that we receive. We envision that every dollar that moves through our system brings ten, a hundred, a thousand-fold back through the source/person from which it came. We know that what we provide cannot truly be accounted for by monetary exchange—yet we recognize that at this time on the earth plane this is the system with which we have to work and play. The more we feel empowered and enlivened in our relationship with money, the easier prosperity and abundance flow to and through us. We make our offerings in the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie. We call to us those who will most benefit, and who will enrich everyone by their presence and contributions. We envision that each person makes a valuable contribution to the growth of the whole, and as such needs and deserves to be supported. Sliding Scale Payment OptionsWe offer sliding scale payment options for most of our services and classes. Our intention is: (1) to open the pathway for those truly want to participate to be able to do so, and (2) for members of our community to experience their own prosperity and a sense of camaraderie by contributing to the ability of others to participate. The bottom of the sliding scale does not actually cover our costs in making these offerings available. We do this to support a broader range of people in availing themselves of our offerings than otherwise might be able to do so. In this we affirm our own prosperity, and our ability to reach out in collaboration to others. The middle of the scale covers our costs based on classes being full with people all paying this amount. The top of the scale covers our costs and helps assist those who pay at the lower end. Our view is that everyone called to our work is called for an important reason that we would like to support; this is not entry-level practice. In addition, in our classes and retreats we all benefit from the presence and contributions of people with differing backgrounds and circumstances, all of us with our own unique gifts and talents to bring to the table aside from our particular ability to pay at the moment. Below are a few criteria for helping you decide where to place yourself along the scale. These are examples, not requirements. You know your responsibilities and assets and the choices you make on how to spend money, better than anyone. When making your selection, please consider the value you have received, or envision receiving, from our services and classes. With every dollar you vote for what you think has value. Your choices affirm your perspective on prosperity and abundance. Collaboration and reciprocity are natural, and yet in the world we inhabit, competition and the fear of scarcity often block us from seeing these ways of being with one another. In a you-or-me world, reciprocity and collaboration don’t fit. A you-and-me world is full of collaborators, partners, sharing, and reciprocity. In that world, our resources are not only enough; they are infinite. When we bring the practice of collaboration and reciprocity into conscious view in everyday life, a kind of alchemy and prosperity await discovery all around us.” (Lynne Twist, The Soul of Money, p. 145).
