What a beautiful and amazing gathering we had this weekend!  My house still radiates with the vibrant energy of so many bright beings coming together in community. I feel so nourished by the way I felt seen, held, and appreciated--thank you!

And I love the way people come not knowing who they'll know, and then finding familiar faces they were expecting, familiar faces they weren't expecting, and unfamiliar faces opening up to them.  I so enjoyed feeling people all around me connecting with each other-yum!

During the prayer circle, I invited us to connect with the support of the earth pushing up against us, as she does at all times, and to send a blessing down through our skeletons, from our bodies to her body.  We reached out to connect with the Bioneers conference happening just miles away in Marin, an inpsiring gathering each year where thousands join together to vision and strategize and learn from each other about how to live more harmoniously with all beings on the planet.  (Find them on the Allies page.)

I then asked each of us to create a prayer for healing our earth, coming out of reflecting on places that have had meaning for us in our lives, and places that we know need our attention and love.  We then turned to our neighbors and shared our prayers, and then some of us shared with the larger group.  Here are a few of them:

• that we become more human "beings" and less human "doings"
• that we wake up to the truth of who we are
• that we be able to eat the fish that comes from the San Francisco Bay when the waters are pure again
• that there be more ease and flow  along the I80-I880  corridor
  
• that there be healing where there has been war, peace where there has been violence
• that Paul Stamet--who has done extensive research and written numerous books, including How Mushrooms Will Save the World--have all the resources he needs in order to show us the way to clean up toxic wastes with our fungi brethren (check him out at www.fungi.com)
